Sample Angler's three Single Origin offerings with our coffees from Kenya, Colombia, and Guatemala each roasted to bring out the inherent qualities of each origin's terroir.
Kenya AA (1 x 12oz Bag)
Medium roast, with notes of Dark Chocolate & Dried Cherry with hits of Citrus
Kenya AA coffee is renowned for its complexity. Our Kenya is balanced in its sweetness and brightness with a smooth mouthfeel. Roasting this coffee lighter allows for you to taste the origin without being overwhelmed by roast. With flavors of dark chocolate and dried cherry, this coffee is juicy and super drinkable.
The "AA" grade designates that these are exclusively the largest, densest and most well-shaped beans naturally containing the highest concentrations of the aromatic oils so integral to the coffee-drinking experience.
First Nation Artist Series Medium Roast - Colombia (1 x 12oz Bag)
Medium roast, Organic, with notes of Stone Fruit, Citrus, & Cocoa
The coffee co-op, Inza, that produced this coffee is made up of 80 local producers, all smallholder farmers; the average size of the farms is under 5 acres. Most of these farmers have been growing coffees organically for generations. The co-op gained organic certification, and now the farmers are paid an extra premium when delivering cherries or parchment to the mill. This coffee is a true representation of what we call “the classic cup” - and as the lightest roast level we offer, this is a coffee that clearly represents a certain origin.
First Nation Artist Series Dark Roast - Guatemala (1 x 12oz Bag)
Dark roast, Organic with notes of Dark Chocolate & Hazelnut
ASOBAGRI is women owned and operated for over 20 years. An additional premium is paid for this coffee through a partnership with the Café Femenino Foundation. At the end of each harvest the Co-op members vote on how to use this additional revenue and such projects have included investments in quality control and sustainable farming, as well as healthcare and literacy for the farmers and their families.
