Designed for standard wading use, these studs feature sharp, hard carbide tips that provide exceptional grip on ice, slippery rock streams, and any hard, slippery surface. INSTALLATION

Note: No pre-drilling required.

Directions:

1. Using a drill, attach the installation tool or a standard 5/16 hex drive.

2. Drill the studs straight into the rubber outsole.

3. Slowly screw in the stud until the wide flat washer part of the head, hits the rubber.

4. When flush, screw the stud an extra 1/4 of a turn more to make sure that the washer part is firmly seated against the rubber.

Placement:

It is important to not only stud the perimeter of the sole and heel but to also stud the inner parts of the sole that do not touch when standing on flat ground.

The number of studs used varies by size and user preference. 10-14 studs per each boot are typically required for women's sizes.
